Autumn, One Year Later


It's not as pretty anymore, and it has only just begun to change color (contrary to the complaints of those who've been insisting that "Fall came earlier this year than last!"), but I still think it's "photo-worthy"!

Broken

I've been looking in on The Tree lately, in hopes of taking a "Spring" photo. Yesterday I elected to wait, observing that it was a few days (maybe a week) away from flowering (a few had already appeared). Last night's whomping good thunder storm, with its accompanying 2~3 inches of wet, heavy snow, has sadly changed things.



Many other trees in the area are also broken, and several have come down entirely. Ah, Spring in the Pacific Northwest...
